Another year ends. A new chapter begins. This has been the usual story line going to another year full of breaks, misses, blessings and surprises. As the year 2011 draws into a close, we always think that "good luck" or "bad fortune" ruins everything, whether or not we finish the year on the upside or on the downside of the hill.
This past few weeks, we have seen our brothers and sisters back in Mindanao suffered a terrible and horrendous fate. Right between their eyes they saw how their dreams were shattered in a blink of an eye. They lost what was theirs, they lost what was their only their stronghold and worse, they lost their lives. Staggering it may seem, but the more surprising with this is that they have not lost one special thing; HOPE.
Sabay Tayo! Together we shall overcome our anxieties, live accord in our hope for a new beginning. Though losing something is always dreadful, God never ceases to replace them with love and understanding. In the moments of darkness where we encountered such pain and suffering, we must remember that there are men and women who will help us rediscover the light that brings joy and smile to our hearts.
As we all welcome the year 2012 , we bring fulfillment to the HOPE of our brothers and sisters. Together we shall rebuild the framework of success, recover from the face of trials and adversities and recreate that lost future into reality.
Sa pagsalubong sa bagong taon, sabay-sabay nating abutin ang ating mga nawalang mga pangarap, magkaramay sa lumbay at magkasama sa lahat ng tagumpay!
